Empowerment Squared is building a world where everyone is empowered with the tools and opportunities to thrive and contribute to society. We do this by empowering newcomer, racialized, and marginalized communities in Canada and across the world to succeed through mentorship, access to post-secondary education, professional skills development and entrepreneurship, and sports and recreation.
Empowerment Squared Liberia is a registered organization in Liberia operating under the oversight of Empowerment Squared and dedicated to furthering its mission. Empowerment Squared Liberia is a realization of the vision of founder and CEO Leo Nupolu Johnson, a Liberian who fled his native country during civil war, grew up on refugee camps in Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana, eventually resettled as a refugee in Canada, and never gave up on his dream to help rebuild Liberia.
